AN inquest has been opened into the death of a two-year-old UU裸聊直播 toddler during a family holiday last month.
Advocate Cyril Whelan, acting as relief coroner, yesterday heard that Isla Rae Sutcliffe passed away from septic shock following a perforated appendix in Turkey.
She was pronounced dead on the evening of 30 October 2023 in a Turkish hospital.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
During a brief hearing lasting less than five minutes, with no family members in attendance, Advocate Whelan approved the release of Isla鈥檚 body in order for her funeral to take place.
At the conclusion, he authorised cremation and adjourned the inquest until a later date to await the outcome of further investigations.
A fundraiser launched in support of Isla鈥檚 family has so far raised over 拢40,000.
Set up by family friend Taylor Kearns, the fundraiser has been supported by over 1,600 people since its launch two weeks ago.
The money will be used to 鈥渟upport Laura Carolan, Ryan Sutcliffe, Karis and their family as they navigate the devastating loss of their beloved two-year-old child, Isla, whilst on a family holiday in Turkey鈥.
