TWO men have been jailed for separate theft offences following appearances in UU裸聊直播 Magistrate’s Court.

Lukasz Krol (26). was already subject to a probation order when he stole 拢100 worth of clothes from Madhatter in Halkett Place on 8 July, the Court was told.

Krol was said to have taken a T-shirt and two pairs of shorts into the changing room and to have removed the tags from the T-shirt and one of the pairs of shorts before stealing them. He put the other shorts back on the rail.

The theft was caught on CCTV.

The court heard that in May this year Krol had been given a probation order and a community service order for previous theft and drug offences. He had completed the community service but had missed probation appointments.

Advocate Mike Preston, defending, said Krol had been suffering from depression. He added: 鈥淗e can鈥檛 explain why he behaved in that way.

鈥淥ut of a clear blue sky he did something utterly daft.鈥

But Relief Magistrate David Le Cornu jailed Krol for a month, telling him: 鈥淵ou were given a real opportunity by the court to turn your life around. But you haven鈥檛 engaged with the Probation Service.鈥

Meanwhile, in a separate case, a man with an extensive history of shoplifting was jailed for six weeks for his latest thefts.

The Magistrate鈥檚 Court heard that 35-year-old James Craig Ring stole 拢230 worth of aftershave and women鈥檚 perfume from Superdrug in King Street on 27 July.

He placed the items in a basket and then in his pockets and left without paying.

Ring was not represented by a lawyer. He admitted the thefts and told the court: 鈥淚 had just lost my job. I鈥檓 extremely sorry. I won鈥檛 be repeating it.鈥

However, the court also heard that Ring had numerous previous convictions for shoplifting and had been jailed last year for five counts of theft.

Jailing him again, Relief Magistrate David Le Cornu said Ring had received many sentences for theft in the past but told him: 鈥淵ou haven鈥檛 learnt from them.鈥
