UNBEATEN in their campaign so far, UU裸聊直播 Bulls travel to Surrey tomorrow to take on low-lying Balham, currently occupying 18th spot in the Combined Counties Premier Division South.
Despite not tasting defeat, Bulls manager Elliot Powell confessed: 鈥淚t鈥檚 been quite a frustrating start for us.
鈥淲e flew out the traps in the first couple of games, but have just been ground to a halt a little bit.
鈥淭he squad have got pretty high expectations of themselves.
鈥淚 think we are frustrated we couldn鈥檛 put the ball in the net against Horley [Town] and couldn鈥檛 quite overcome the two-goal deficit against Alton.
鈥淏ut we still picked up something in those games, and didn鈥檛 come out on the complete wrong side of it.
鈥淪o it鈥檚 not all doom and gloom at all.
鈥淲e鈥檙e unbeaten still, so spirits are high.鈥
Considering three out of the four fixtures for Powell鈥檚 side thus far have been away, remaining undefeated is quite the achievement.
鈥淔rom a sheer playing perspective, it鈥檚 frustrating that all these games are away,鈥 the manager admitted.
鈥淲e understand that it鈥檚 obviously better for us financially to go away early season.
鈥淏ut you know, we want to be in front of the home crowd as often as we can. Teams don鈥檛 want to lose, especially at home in front of their support.
鈥淚t is difficult, but it鈥檒l flip at some point, and we鈥檒l get our chance to play at Springfield.鈥
Having squared off twice last season, the UU裸聊直播 side came away with points on both occasions.
Away at Imperial Fields last campaign, the Islanders came out on top with a 2-0 victory.
More recently though, Balham battled back from 1-0 down at Springfield Stadium, to secure a 1-1 draw.
This season, both squads have emerged victorious against Spelthorne Sports, as Powell鈥檚 Bulls side ran riot 6-1, while Balham edged past with a 2-1 scoreline.
Speaking about his team鈥檚 upcoming opponents, Powell is expecting a unique challenge.
鈥淭hey鈥檙e quite a young side,鈥 he said.
鈥淭hey鈥檒l try and play out from the back.
鈥淎 lot of the sides in this league are direct, but Balham try and play, what I consider to be, football. So we鈥檙e really looking forward to that.鈥
Ahead of their upcoming clash, Bulls are missing some key players in the shape of Jay Giles, Karl Hinds, and Rai Dos Santos, but other than that the manager believes his squad is at 鈥減retty much full strength鈥.
As a new manager, Powell stated: 鈥淲e鈥檝e made some subtle changes.
鈥淚 think we look quite effective, but we鈥檙e not 100% of the way there. There鈥檚 a few things I鈥檓 currently working on with the guys so it鈥檚 probably going to take us a few months to be fully where we want to be.
鈥淏ut there鈥檚 been some really positive signs early on.鈥
Content with his players鈥 efforts both on and off the pitch, Powell concluded: 鈥淲e鈥檙e not here for two or three months looking for instant success.
鈥淭his is a longer-term project, and we feel like there鈥檚 some good foundations in place in the first couple of months.鈥
